Hotel Mercure Bayonne Centre Le Grand Hotel

The location is fantastic for exploring. The room was dated and lacked charm compared to other hotels.

the location was good and unbeatable, near to main tourist attractions as well as the bus stop and station, and the view was lovely. my room included coffee/tea making equipment, an iron with ironing board, and a work desk.

Favourable and unbeatable location for our visit to a Roman Catholic church just a short walk away from the hotel. Private parking on site provided.

The parking situation is a disaster!!! Dated decor and confusing room layouts certainly don't enhance the experience!!!

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The room was large and had all essential facilities including a large screen TV. The buffet breakfast was good.

The parking for the hotel was about 200 yards away, at a cost of 13 euros per day. It proved impossible to stop temporarily outside the hotel to check in because the single space outside was occupied, as were all the nearby parking spaces. It was necessary to find a space much further away to park temporarily, then walk back to the hotel with luggage, and move the car later. However the hotel receptionists were very helpful. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but the staff recommended a good one nearby.

The location is fantastic for exploring the charming streets of Bayonne, with easy access to shops and the lovely river. The breakfast is a highlight, with a generous selection of meats, cheeses, and pastries that make mornings enjoyable. The room wasnice and neat.

Dated decor.

Modern and functional place with HELPFUL staff and excellent location right in the town centre. Choose superior double room with a fan, excellent large modern bathrooms plus big screen. Location near to main shopping area and the most beautiful part of the old town.

I left my laptop in the room at check out and they had it waiting for me when I realized and returned.

The propitious use of down comforters. They are great for winter or rooms with air conditioning, but suboptimal for summer and for rooms lacking air. Otherwise, the room was convenient and nice.

Small rooms might disappoint, but really good breakfast and convenient location make up for it.

Had a fantastic time with a wonderful breakfast spread and cozy, functional room. Only downside was the dated decor. I would definitely stay here again!

Unbeatable position in the historic centre.

It was very central and the room large and comfortable. Plenty of good restaurants not too far away.

Parking was an issue. Crowded streets, and hotel parking a few blocks away on higher levels and lift not working.

Accessing parking can be tricky due to nearby no-entry zones, and the difference in room quality left something to be desired.

The hotel is located in a very central position. The room is quite big. Quality is Best western standard

It's a good Best Western hotel (Grand Hotel is just the name), but it isn't definitely worth the money. Breakfast is far too expensive, WiFi is not working, old style elevator is noisy; no parking available, neither to unload the luggage
